The album consists of 33 different original compositions by composer and pianist Søren Bebe, specifically designed for children's ballet classes age 6-10 and older. Many of the songs are recorded in different versions and tempos so the total number of tracks on the digital download version is 51 songs. Most songs for the barre are included in both a version without repeats and a version where the song is played twice with a short break between. The class is devised by Nerea Barañano from Christianshavns Balletskole.
